Point it at C:UsersDocumentsmy gamesGrim Dawnsave Install the program (There seems to be no bloatware associated with it, but use at your own risk). Eventhough the program is from 2013 it works fine with Windows 10 (which is what I am using). To access these files you need a program called “ShadowExplorer” version 0.9. It seems that since Vista, Windows has used a shadow copy function to retain files – this appears to be a different process than the restore functionality. I use local save and lost my shared stash, and I was able to recover it even though I don’t use any of the Window’s backup utils and “restore file to previous version” showed no checkpoints to recover. I posted this in another thread, but thought I’d bust it out since shared stashes are still occasionally getting wiped.
